QUALITY OF LIFE PASIEN DIABETES MELLITUS DENGAN ULKUS DIABETIKUM QUALITY OF LIFE DIABETIC PATIENTS WITH FOOT ULCERS

Abstract

Angka kejadian diabetes mellitus meningkat setiap tahunnya baik dinegara maju maupun dinegara berkembang. angka kejadian Diabetes Mellitus di Indonesia pada tahun 2017 menduduki peringkat ke-6 di dunia sebanyak 10,3 juta jiwa. Ulkus diabetik diperkirakan terjadi pada sekitar 15% individu yang mengalami DM. Ulkus diabetik mempengaruhi kualitas hidup penderitanya. Metodologi : Penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan desain cross sectional study. Dilaksanakan tanggal 22 September-12 Oktober 2019 di wilayah kerja kelurahan Rawa Buaya Jakarta Barat. Jumlah sampel 31 ditentukan dengan conscecutive sampling. Variable yang akan diteliti meliputi data demografi responden dan kualitas hidup. Kuesioner penelitian terbagi menjadi 2 yaitu kuesiober data demografi dan SF-36. Analisis data yang digunakan analisis univariat dan disajikan dalam bentuk distribusi frekuensi. Hasil : Distribusi frekuensi quality of life : dimensi fisik responden diabetes mellitus dengan ulkus diabetikum untuk kategori baik sebanyak 42%, sedangkan untuk quality of life dimensi mental untuk kategori baik sebanyak 35.5% di wilayah kerja kelurahan Rawa Buaya Jakarta Barat Simpulan : menurunnya kualitas hidup pada pasien diabetes mellitus dengan ulkus diabetikum dikarenakan keterbatasan dalam melakukan aktivitas, disabilitas, dan juga nyeri akibat ulkus.

 

The incidence of diabetes mellitus is increasing every year in both developed and developing countries. In Indonesia the incidence of Diabetes Mellitus in 2017 ranks 6th in the world of 10.3 million. Diabetic ulcers are estimated to occur in about 15% of individuals who have DM. Diabetic ulcers affect the quality of life of sufferers. Method : Descriptive research using a cross sectional study design. Held on September 22-October 12, 2019 in the working area of West Jakarta's Rawa Buaya sub-district. The number of samples 31 was determined by consecutive sampling. Variables to be examined include respondent demographic data and quality of life. The research questionnaire was divided into 2 namely demographic data questionnaire and SF-36. Data analysis used univariate analysis and presented in the form of frequency distributions. Results: Frequency distribution of quality of life: physical dimensions of diabetic mellitus respondents with diabetic ulcers in the good category by 42%, while for quality of life the mental dimension for the good category was 35.5% in the working area of West Jakarta's Rawa Buaya sub-district. Conclusion: Declining quality of life in diabetic mellitus patients with diabetic ulcers due to limitations in activity, disability, and also pain due to ulcers.
